As the iPhone 4S hype begins to finally die down, more interest is being pointed towards the next generation Apple tablet, the iPad 3. The suppliers that produce parts for Apple products always seem to be happy to leak details of the products and this time the iPad 3 is no exception.
Jeff Fidacaro, an analyst for Susquehanna Financial, claimed that the iPad 3 is going into production. Fidacaro has found sources from the supply chain who say that Apple is increasing iPad orders for the last quarter of 2011, from 11 – 13 million units, to 12 – 14 million.
This essentially means that the iPad 3 is actually in production now, meaning that the ipad 3 release date is due to be early 2012, possibly March next year. This leads us to ask if there is any truth in the rumour of the iPad Mini, or and iPad 2S.. same design, new processor and camera, sound familiar?
